When selecting disinfectants, it’s essential to ensure they are compatible with the materials being cleaned and meet local regulatory standards for efficacy and safety.
It is advised that Safety Pods are regularly maintained and checked for fullness or damage. It is good practice to have your Safety Pod™ serviced every six months. Safety Pods may require more frequent servicing if heavily used.

If your Safety Pod™ is within the stage of red we recommend you do not use your Safety Pod™ until it has been serviced by our team or your in house trained Safety Pod™ technician. Safety Pods are covered for manufacturing faults. If there is a fault, please notify our support team within 48 hours of delivery, and we will replace the item. Before using the Safety Pod in practice It is highly recommended that you receive training from a qualified Safety Pod practitioner. The manufacturer-approved Safety Pod practitioner training model has been designed for qualified physical intervention instructors. Please follow the link for further details.
It is highly recommended that a risk assessment should be in place within your organisation for the use of the Safety Pod, XL cushion, support wedge, and weighted blanket. Additionally, it is important that each piece of equipment is individually risk-assessed within personal care plans to ensure appropriate and safe usage.
